    Hi Guys,
I just was wondering who of you played both games and found a reference to System Shock in Cybermage.

The Authority you're hacking for in System Shock is TriOptimum and in Cybermage the Authority you're fighting against is ....TriOptimum.

What are your suggestions towards this?

    Regards Daniel.

I vaguely remember the gameplay of Cybermage, but very little of the lore... that's definitely a neat connection. There was some crossover of the teams between the two games, so it's possible Warren or one of the designers thought it would be cool to have an easter egg for fans, or maybe even a potential to join the universes.

I know that both games were published by Origin, but the Lead Designers were Warren Spector ( System Shock ) and D.W. Bradley for Cybermage: Darklight Awakening.

The Story of Darklight Awakening is, that you're an experiment that was interrupted by the evil Dictator Necrom, who tries to destroy you.

Everything is set in a cyberpunk World. You have magic like powers through crystals.

It was my first 3D/Roleplaying shooter with that whoaaa moment when I learned that you can drive flying cars and tanks.

And I loved the reference to System Shock through the Police State und TriOptimum.

    Both are great games.

In the "Topline" newspaper that comes with the big box version of Crusader: No Remorse, there is an article about a science symposium where one of the keynote speeches is on the development of an artificial intelligence named SHODAN, that could be used to run an entire space station :D
